O.K. enough with the yammering. It's Friday! That means another installment of Five Minute Friday. So without further ado, I give you my five minute ramblings on the topic of:
When I think about worship the first thought that comes to mind is singing in church. A second glance will provide me with so many much more meaningful things.
Standing at my kitchen sink cleaning strawberries; popping one in my mouth and the juicy sweetness, that wonderful God-made treat causes my hand to raise to the heaven and praise the Lord for being so marvelous as to make such a yummy thing.
Christmas time listening to the choir sing. Thinking of that baby boy come down from heaven. Thinking of those tiny fingers wrapped around Mary's finger--tiny fingers that created this world yet would one day curl around a nail for me.
Dancing around in the kitchen to music on the radio or CD. Dancing to the Lord. Having a grand time glad that the neighbors cannot see my party for one (make that two--worshiper and Worshiped).
Singing. That is a sentence in and of itself. At home. At church. Closing my eyes, raising my hand toward the heavens, feeling the tips of His fingers touching the tips of my own.
Worthy, worthy, worthy is the Lamb.
